Buy the board through your chosen board supplier and have it delivered straight to our workshop. We cut a calculated pattern of parallel slots into the back face, allowing the board to follow the required curve while the front face stays intact.
Slot spacing, depth and pattern depend on the board specification and project radius, so we review every detail before manufacture. We can assess standard, Firecase, coreboard, moisture resistant and specialist plasterboards.
Where fire or system performance matters, the project designer must confirm that the modified construction suits the required system.

True Curves or Faceted Curves?
A faceted curve uses several straight sections to approximate a radius. It can suit projects where the finished design hides the individual segments.
A true curve follows a continuous radius. It gives a smoother line but demands more control over the geometry and the supporting components.
Neither is automatically right. The choice depends on the radius, the height and length, the board specification and number of layers, the supporting construction, how many times the curve repeats, the installation sequence, the surrounding finishes and the viewing distance.
